Inputs required
A full bill of quantities/ cost plan
- Drawings from the architect and engineer (including plans, elevations, sections and any details) These can be in dwg. Dxf or pdf format. Dwg is preferred.
- Full NBS specification or design specification – if you provide us with a full NBS spec then you will receive a fully referenced BoQ relating to the spec references. If you don't have a specification we are experienced enough to make sensible assumptions and provide you with an assumptions sheet.
- Employer's requirements – we will produce your bill according to your required BCIS structure or category structure.
Construction sequence presentation
- Drawings from the architect and engineer (including plans, elevations, sections and any details) These can be in dwg. Dxf or pdf format. Dwg is preferred.
- A sequence listing the order of construction. This can be a simple list of what you'd like to see on each slide. These presentations are delivered in powerpoint format.
Print a 3d model
- Drawings from the architect and engineer (including plans, elevations, sections and any details) These can be in dwg. Dxf or pdf format. Dwg is preferred.
- If there is a specification then this might help us to get the materials correct for a more realistic model.
- If we are printing your model then we can do this from your 3d file.
- If we are designing the model for you, you need to provide us with a brief.
3d rendered visuals and 3d animations
- Drawings from the architect and engineer (including plans, elevations, sections and any details) These can be in dwg. Dxf or pdf format. Dwg is preferred.
- If there is a specification then this might help us to get the materials correct for a more realistic model.
- If you'd like a 3d animation you can also provide us with a path or description of what you'd like to show in the animation.
Co-ordination report
- Drawings from the architect and engineer (including plans, elevations, sections and any details) These can be in dwg. dxf or pdf format. dwg is preferred.
- Full NBS specification or design specification – this is not essential but may help us to ensure the model we produce is fully co-ordinated and accurate. It will also enable to highlight any discrepancies between the drawings and the specification.
2d elevations/sections/plans/zone plans
- Generally the 2d outputs are produced alongside one of the other options, often at no extra charge. These include 4 elevations, 2 sections, and a plan of each floor showing the zones/room names.
- We can also create additional detailed drawings of any area of the model at your request.
3d cuts/sections/floor plans etc.
- Drawings from the architect and engineer (including plans, elevations, sections and any details) These can be in dwg. dxf or pdf format. dwg is preferred.
- Once the model is complete we can produce images of any part of it, in more detail if required. For example if you wanted a view with the ceiling/roof taken away in one particular area or if you wanted a 3d cut through the model showing the rooms inside.
