This is a model of a housing estate. From this model we are able to calculate the site cut and fill figures for each individual plot.
We can also calculate the height of the retaining walls that will be required inbetween plots.

Existing terrain modelling
We can import data from ordanance survey or from a dxf file directly into our software.
This model was done for planning permission and was used to show the views of the new wood pelleting plant from a residential area.

This model calculates the amount of cut and fill required across the whole site. Including the excavation for the building footprint, external works, site road and MUGA.

Cut and fill reports and presentations
From our models we can create cut and fill reports and presentations; illustrating how the quants have been calculated. We can provide views and sections of the 3d model so you can gain a clearer understanding of the site.

Modelling terrain
We model the terrain using a 2d drawing with the z values on. We then either automatically or manually import these z values to create a 3d model.
The proposed terrain, hard surfaces and building plateaus can then be added to the model to produce the quantities.

Cut and fill reports and presentations
Each element we add to the model can be quantified seperately. For example, if you wanted to know the amount of fill required for an area of car park, or the cut for a path around a building; we can list each element on its own.
