Installation

Open textured asphalt, graded aggregates, 22 to 27% voids, bound with high penetration polymer modified bitumen, produced with controlled batching and delivery to avoid oxidation. This is installed with laser precision equipment, compacted with static rollers to achieve a uniform surface and the desired voids.

The aggregate is surrounded by a thin layer of bitumen and the voids are filled with high strength, self compacting slurry grouts, comprising modified micro silica and concentrates which are mixed and delivered by special continuous flow mixer pumps.
