"Privica were commissioned to lay a 60mm Confalt reinforced grouted macadam overlay to an existing ground bearing floor slab in a 320,000sq ft former foundry building. The surface of the existing slab was in very poor condition having a mixture of old screed and steel chequerplate coverings. The product was chosen due to it’s versatility, speed of application and ability to perform like concrete. The project was undertaken in five phases while the tenant remained in occupation.
What could have been a difficult project ran very smoothly due to the contractor’s continued liaison with the tenant and efficient working practices. The tenant now has a smooth running surface for fork lift trucks. I would recommend the product and the contractor as a suitable alternative to concrete internally or externally in heavy wear areas and service yards."
